Becoming accredited means that we voluntarily applied for evaluation by the Joint Commission Accreditation of Health Care Facilities and were honored to be awarded their Gold Seal of Approval. This seal is an international symbol which signifies that our surgery center has met the highest and most rigorous performance standards of patient care. Because we are also certified to care for Medicare and Medicaid patients, we are held to the highest standard of care an ambulatory care center can receive by the Joint Commission. Turtle Creek is the place in East Texas for assured safety, efficiency, and convenience. Turtle Creek Surgery Center is located in the heart of Tyler’s medical community, just one block west of Tyler’s major hospitals. You can be dropped off under our spacious, covered entrance, keeping you safe and dry in all kinds of weather. We offer free easy-access parking, you’re never more than a few steps from the door. We know that convenience means a lot to our patients.

Never assume anything when it comes to your care. We want you to be assured:
- We implement the Joint Commission approved Infection Control Program
- Only licensed professional personnel perform anesthesia
- One needle, one syringe, one dose, one vial per patient, no exceptions
- All instruments are inspected daily prior to sterilization in our autoclave
- We never use expired medications
- With a physician order, only properly trained licensed professional personnel are allowed to administer medication
- A licensed registered Pharmacist oversees our pharmacy operations & daily inventory of controlled substances per Texas Pharmacy Board Rules
